How to maintain the electrode nozzle of CNC plasma cutting machine?

1. as little as possible perforation cutting, perforation is molten steel back splash will hurt the nozzle, which is one of the most important reasons for the damage of the cutting nozzle, if must be perforated cutting, it is best to use a drill bit to pre-drill holes at the perforation, starting from the pre-drilled hole;

2. try to cut within the rated normal cutting thickness range of the cutting machine, and try not to cut on the limit cutting thickness. The normal cutting thickness of the domestic cutting machine is generally 60% of the maximum cutting thickness marked by the manufacturer (for example, the maximum cutting thickness marked by the domestic 100A plasma cutting machine manufacturer is generally 32mm, but the normal cutting thickness is only 15-20mm). Try to cut within this thickness range to best protect the cutting mouth;

3., the distance between the cutting nozzle and the steel plate should be kept constant as far as possible, generally about 3-8mm. If it is too far away, it will not only consume too much power, but also reduce the cutting penetration ability, and relatively consume the electrode, which will reduce the service life of the electrode. If it is too close, it will be simpler and very expensive for the nozzle. The service life of the nozzle will be doubled and even burned when it goes up;

Of course, the service life of the plasma electrode nozzle is also related to other factors, such as: the input voltage, the quality of the electrode itself, the quality of the CNC plasma cutting machine and the integrity of the equipment, the quality of the plasma cutting gun, the user's experience, etc., but the most important thing is the above points. If these three points are paid attention to, the service life of the electrode nozzle will be greatly improved.
